Study Visa

STUDY VISA

A Canada study visa, also known as a Canadian study permit, is a document that allows international students to study at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. This visa is required for most international students who plan to study in Canada for more than 6 months.

To apply for a Canada study visa, you must first be accepted to a DLI in Canada and provide proof of your acceptance. You will also need to provide other supporting documents, such as a valid passport, proof of financial support, and a medical exam, depending on your country of origin.

Once you have been granted a Canada study visa, you can legally study in Canada for the duration of your program. In some cases, you may also be able to work part-time while you study, depending on your program and the conditions of your visa.

Before applying for a study permit, you must first be accepted to a DLI in Canada. You should research and apply to the institutions that meet your academic goals. You will receive a letter of acceptance.

You will need to gather and submit a variety of documents, including your passport, letter of acceptance, proof of financial support, and any other supporting documents required by the Canadian government.

You can apply for a study permit online or by paper. You will need to pay the application fee and submit your completed application and supporting documents.

If your study permit is approved, you will be issued a visitor visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if you are from a visa-exempt country. You can then travel to Canada to begin your studies.
