New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)
New Brunswick PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) is an immigration program that allows the province of New Brunswick in Canada to nominate eligible individuals who want to settle and work in the province. The program is designed to attract foreign skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international graduates who have the skills and experience required to contribute to the province’s economic development.
The New Brunswick PNP has various streams that cater to different categories of applicants, such as the Express Entry Labour Market Stream, Skilled Workers with Employer Support Stream, Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream, Entrepreneurial Stream, and the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) Stream.
Each stream has its own eligibility criteria, application process, and processing times. For example, the AIPP stream is a partnership between the Atlantic provinces and the federal government to attract and retain skilled immigrants to the region. It allows employers in New Brunswick to hire foreign workers and international graduates who meet the program’s requirements.
If an applicant is nominated by the province of New Brunswick under the PNP program, they will receive additional points towards their Express Entry application, which can increase their chances of being selected to apply for Canadian permanent residency.
If you are eligible for a particular stream, you will need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the New Brunswick PNP. The EOI is an online application that asks for information about your background, education, work experience, and other details.
If your EOI is selected by the New Brunswick PNP, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the program. The ITA will provide instructions on how to proceed with your application.
Once you receive an ITA, you will need to submit a complete application to the New Brunswick PNP. You will need to provide supporting documents, such as your language test results, educational credentials, and work experience.
After receiving a nomination, you can apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If your application is successful, you and your family can become permanent residents of Canada and settle in New Brunswick.
